Inside Sales Associate

Duties and Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Associate is the initial point of contact for inbound inquiries from existing and prospective customers.  The Sales Associate receives requests for quotations and orders from customers and composes quotations and submits orders. The Sales Associate coordinates with other departments, including the North American Enterprise Sales team and the Marketing Department, in managing and distributing sales leads from marketing events, campaigns and other sources.  Communicates with existing customers to maintain customer relationships, ensure annual maintenance renewals, identify opportunities for additional products and services, and to update information for customer contacts.  Responsible for administrative tasks to update information and perform data cleaning in StatSoft’s CRM system.

Essential Functions

  • Receives telephone and email requests for price quotations and orders for desktop products in the STATISTICA product line
  • Utilizes Orders System to input orders, compose price quotes, track order status, etc.
  • Supports the needs of regional sales representatives in North America.
  • Contacts existing customers to maintain relationships, ensure annual maintenance renewals, and to update customer information.
  • Manages leads from various sources utilizing the CRM System
  • Supports the Academic Sales Departments' activities
  • Supports the Government Sales Departments' activities
  • Supports the Marketing Department, as necessary
