This position reports to the Technical Services Department.
As a member of the Technical Services Department, you will provide telephone, e-mail, and fax support to potential and current clients. Additionally, you will be expected to work closely with development and other support personnel. Everyday duties involve assisting customers with technical and sales support as well as ongoing outside projects. The ability to multi-task is essential. Long-term goals in this position include teaching seminars both in Tulsa and throughout the U.S., and performing on-site consulting services and/or custom application development for clients. This position at StatSoft has tremendous flexibility as well as opportunity. Extensive familiarity with statistics is required, and a Master’s degree in Statistics or a related field is preferred. This position also requires excellent oral and written communication skills. A background in technical support / customer service and a working knowledge of computer hardware would be helpful.
