This position reports to the Development Services Department.
Technical Writer will write and edit product documentation including manuals and electronic documentation (Help) as well as production information brochures for computer software applications. This full-time, permanent position requires an individual who is able to quickly learn new software programs and independently manage projects with minimal supervision in a fast-pace environment. The Technical Writer must possess excellent organizational skills, a detail-oriented work approach, and good interpersonal and written communication skills. Previous technical writing and/or editing experience and proficiency with Microsoft products are not requirements, but would be beneficial. Knowledge of statistical methodology would be a plus and familiarity with computers/information technology is a must.
