Updates and Other Materials
A general purpose library of STATISTICA input/output
procedures (DLLs) for application developers. STADEV has been released in
response to a growing demand from developers who create custom applications
that interface with STATISTICA or integrate STATISTICA into larger (e.g.,
enterprise-wide) computing environments. See STADEV for more information on STADEV features. Download the STADEV library, approx. 2 minutes at 28.8 Kbps).
Current users may also download the newest version of the Electronic Manual which includes
topics on all new STATISTICA 5.5 features. Download the most current STATISTICA Electronic Manual (approx. 15 minutes at 28.8 Kbps).
A library of example programs (many of which were written by users of STATISTICA) is available (see User-Exchange Forum/Library of STATISTICA BASIC Programs). These programs include a wide variety of advanced illustrations of how to create highly customized reports, graphs, follow-up analyses that use STATISTICA output as input, and how to design your own complete application programs (e.g., statistical procedures) with user interface, and Scrollsheet and graphics output. Download the STATISTICA BASIC library (approx. 1 minute at 28.8 Kbps).
See the Japanese Language Download Area for more information and download instructions. Download the current Japanese Language Update (approx. 5 minutes at 28.8 Kbps).
Users of STATISTICA/Mac can download a BinHex4.0 encoded self-extracting CompachPro archive to correct a recently discovered problem in the STATISTICA/Mac program (specifically, requesting the
extended, double-line display format for "square" correlation matrices that include between 25 and 35 variables and are calculated with a non-default
[pairwise] deletion of missing data, causes a display problem in the upper
half of the matrix). All the necessary installation instructions are contained in the package. Download the patch (approx. 2 minutes at 28.8 Kbps).
The StatSoft FTP area can be accessed via anonymous FTP. Connect to ftp.statsoft.com (user=anonymous, password=your-email-address), and change directories to /download. The file "index.txt" contains a list of the files which can be downloaded from this location.
