STATISTICA Enterprise Multivariate Statistical Process Control

OverviewSystem Requirements
STATISTICA Enterprise MSPC is a product in the STATISTICA Enterprise software suite. It is designed for the application of multivariate analyses (MVA) to applications in process monitoring and predicting quality outcomes. In process industries, product manufacturing often is complex, with many unit operations, process parameters, and quality outcomes. STATISTICA Enterprise MSPC is a primary tool for applying MVA to these multidimensional data to:
  • Connect to and query data sources, including data historians (such as the PI Data Historian from OSISoft™) for the process parameters and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for in process and finished product quality test results
  • Transform and pre-process the data
  • Identify the root causes of good quality outcomes versus bad quality outcomes
  • Perform a review of historical data to identify the clusters of similar product and their respective quality characteristics
  • Identify the interactions between the processing in different unit operation steps
  • Develop and validate multivariate models (either for a specific unit operation or across multiple unit operations)
  • Monitor production, using configurable Dashboard summaries that allow for the comparison of the current unit operation to limits & patterns derived from historical data

STATISTICA Enterprise Multivariate Statistical Process Control is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008.

This product requires the installation of a database. StatSoft supports the use of ODBC compliant databases such as Access, SQL Server, Oracle, and others.

System Requirements are based on an average size implementation. Server requirements are based on the number of concurrent users simultaneously accessing the system.

Minimum System Requirements

Operating System: Windows XP or above
RAM: 1 GB
Processor Speed: 1 GHz

Recommended System Requirements

Operating System: Windows Server 2003 or later
RAM: 2 GB
Processor Speed: 2.0 GHz, 64-bit, dual core

Notes:

  • System Requirements are based on an average sized implementation.
  • For the 32-bit version of STATISTICA, a 64-bit processor and operating system is recommended due to the better memory management of the 64-bit operating systems.
