Scott Zellmer comes from a background of management positions in the high-tech industry, ranging from leading the development of statistical methodologies to implementing broad manufacturing changes to leading technical teams. Scott has conducted internal and external conferences, including being a guest speaker for StatSoft detailing the strategic results obtained by using STATISTICA Enterprise in the implantable medical device industry. Scott’s technical knowledge spans technologies as diverse as surface acoustic wave device design, implantable medical device manufacturing, manufacturing engineering (quality, processes, components and suppliers), statistical analysis, and design of experiments....

Dr. Eric Kyper has been a STATISTICA user for many years. He's used it in his schooling as well as in his teaching. He took a moment to sit down with us to discuss his use of the software.




 





 

Kevin Mahoney has worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. He has been a user of STATISTICA for several of those years. He recently sat down with us to discuss his use of the software.




 



 

The latest version of R (R 2.12) is recommended for use with STATISTICA 10. Integration with older versions of R is not supported.

R 2.12 is the first release to include both 32 and 64-bit versions of R binaries in one distribution, but only the 32-bit version should be used. Support for the 64-bit version will be available in the future.

 

David Corliss, O.D., Ph.D. was a faculty member at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Director of Special Assessment Projects. He has recently retired, but is still an advocate for STATISTICA. He took a few minutes to tell us how he used the software in his career.
