Last week, StatSoft Polska completed two more presentations in Warsaw and Poznan. We were very pleased to have 250 attendees at each presentation. This is about the same number as the Krakow presentation earlier in the year.
 
Road shows are a great way for StatSoft Polska to keep in touch with STATISTICA users.

Through May 13, 2010, StatSoft Polska will be presenting a series of lectures on “STATISTICA for Scientific Research and Teaching Statistics.” They are visiting the largest polish academic centers (Kraków, Warszawa, Poznań, Katowice, Łódź, Wrocław, Lublin, and Gdańsk) to present examples of statistics and data mining applications with STATISTICA. The lecture topics are:

1. Hypothesis estimation and testing
2. Correlation modeling in STATISTICA and STATISTICA Data Miner
3. Time series analysis and forecasting
4. Why is it important to know statistics and data mining
5. Overview of StatSoft’s initiatives for academic and research institutions
