STATISTICA Enterprise provides tools that allow you to easily query from a database, and then analyze that data via the standard quality control charts. But suppose you are currently interested in only a portion of the data? In that case, STATISTICA Enterprise allows the user to interactively filter out the unwanted data at run-time.
Here is how it works:
In the Enterprise Manager application, expand the Data Configuration. Then select the field that you want to use for your filter criteria. Under that field, select the Filter Options node.
Now whenever you run an Analysis Configuration that is based on this Data Configuration, you will be prompted to select filter criteria.
In other words, you will be able to choose which values from this field to include in the analysis. The filter dialog that is displayed at run-time looks like this:
Clicking on the button outlined in red will allow you to select the values that you want to include in the analysis.
