Companies who need to track change have three different audit trail options with the STATISTICA product line. They track change via:
1. Spreadsheets 2. Enterprise 3. Document Management
Spreadsheets
Spreadsheet audit trail is available with all products.
The audit trail is added to individual spreadsheets. Optionally you can require users to enter a comment on the change.
Anyone opening this spreadsheet can turn off the audit trail unless you *lock* the spreadsheet with a password.
Enterprise
STATISTICA Enterprise: Collaborative Analytics and STATISTICA Enterprise/QC: SPC, Data Analysis are integrated multi-user software system designed for general purpose data analysis and business intelligence applications. Changes to data access, analysis configurations, reports and many other items can be tracked.
Tracking changes may be critical because multiple departments, divisions, and/or adminstrators are involved with managing the reports and analyses. This type of audit trail can be highly useful in regulated industries or any environment where change control is a priority.
Document Management
STATISTICA Document Management System is a scalable solution for flexible, productivity-enhancing management of local or Web-based document repositories (FDA / ISO / Sarbanes-Oxley compliant).
It can be integrated with all STATISTICA products, from desktop versions, to network Client-Server and Enterprise versions, to the ultimate size, Web-based systems.
