StatSoft and Bob Nisbet Partner to Deliver Top-Notch Data Mining Consulting Services

 
Tulsa, Oklahoma – August 4, 2009 – StatSoft, Inc., (www.statsoft.com) a leading supplier of desktop and enterprise STATISTICA data analysis and data mining software solutions, today announced a partnership with Dr. Bob Nisbet to deliver cutting-edge software and consulting services for data mining projects.
 
Dr. Nisbet led the team that developed the first CRM data mining applications for NCR Corporation (ChurnSentry & GrowthAdvisor) in 1998. He has experience delivering analytic solutions in a variety of industries, including retail, telecommunications, insurance, and banking. He is first author of the new book, “Handbook of Statistical Analysis and Data Mining Applications,” published by Academic Press in May, 2009. Dr. Nisbet develops, delivers, and supports data mining applications for the insurance and banking industries bundled with the STATISTICA Data Miner software package.
 
Dr. Nisbet plans to provide data mining solutions specific to several industries. For his customers, he will provide a “tutorial approach” to learning data mining to assist users to come up to speed with STATISTICA Data Miner in a very short period of time.
