StatSoft and Advanced Systems & Designs Deliver Quality Solutions to Automotive and Manufacturing Industries

Tulsa, Oklahoma – August 14, 2009 – StatSoft, Inc., (www.statsoft.com) a leading supplier of desktop and enterprise STATISTICA data analysis and data mining software solutions, today announced a partnership with Advanced Systems and Designs (ASD)(http://asdqms.com ). ASD provides consulting and training services primarily in the areas of Quality Control and Gage monitoring and data collection for the Automotive and General Manufacturing industries. By the terms of the partnership, ASD will utilize STATISTICA Enterprise/QC and STATISTICA Enterprise Server in its consulting and training services, and will resell STATISTICA products.
ASD, a 25 year old SPC company, is located in Troy, MI. For nearly a decade, ASD has been providing OEM cables and interfaces to major gage manufacturers such as Mahr/Federal and many others. Products include SPC Software, Gage Interfaces, and Portable Data Collectors.
According to Paul Mychalowych, President of ASD “StatSoft and the [STATISTICA Enterprise Server] product have proven to be one of the only web based SPC products that works as advertised. A few years ago we had one of our largest clients request a true web based SPC solution that could be scaled across continents. We searched all the vendors on the market, both in the US and Europe and only STATISTICA had the solution that could be scaled and had the capability to handle millions of records of data collected from CMM and Automated production line systems. In addition, we needed to use MS SQL server databases, and STATISTICA had the ability to handle the integration with the existing customer databases. Today the customer has rolled out the solution across three continents, utilizing hardware located in Detroit, Michigan. With today’s manufacturing moving across the globe, manufacturers need an economical and user friendly SPC solution and STATISTICA makes this happen, effortlessly.”
